Global IT Market is expected to reach $3.8 trillion in 2016

Comptia recently released it’s 2016 IT Industry Outlook and it found that the Global IT Market is expected to reach $3.8 trillion in 2016 with the US market accounting for approximately 28% of the total…just over $1 trillion.  It’s an excellent read and, as you would expect from one of the premier advocates of the IT channel, the Comptia report highlights the important role the IT Outsourcing community plays in the present and future of IT servicing.

Quoting directly from the report:  “The channel ecosystem, consisting of solution providers, MSPs, VARs, vendors, distributors, cloud service providers, and more, work in concert to supply and support customers’ technology needs. Estimates suggest upwards of two-‐thirds of IT products and services sold to U.S. businesses flow through or are influenced by indirect channels in some way.”

When it comes to job growth in the IT sector, the report found that “based on how 2015 data was tracking, 2016 could record the highest IT job growth rate in over a decade.”

As Apollo Staffing enters it’s 16 year of operation, we find ourselves uniquely position to be at the forefront of this rapid growth within the IT community, specifically with our VAR Staffing division.  Having serviced the talent acquisition needs of the IT Channel community for over a decade, we can’t wait to see where the next 15 years takes us.
